Got my Rebate from T-mobile before my first bill

Well I got my T-mobile rebate yesterday, it kind of surprised me. I didn’t expect it for another month.

When I purchased my Razr via WireFly for Cingular 2 years ago, I had to wait 6 months and then battle it out with WireFly to get my rebate.

When I purchased a second phone directly from Cingular for a 2nd line I had, the rebate took 3 months to get with me.

But the rebate for my T-Mobil dash only too 3 weeks to get. I haven’t even recieved my first bill yet.

Guide: How to Update your T-Mobile Dash to Windows Mobile 6

Instead of writing a long guide, I figured I’d just show you pictures on what to expect. Just an FYI all of your info will be WIPED.

To get to the settings below you must go to your control panels power options, the below screen shot is for Windows Vista:

After you click next the following screen will appear on you computer, your DASH however will display a RED, BLUE and GREEN screen with the word Excalibar at the top. After a few seconds a gray screen will appear with a progress bar.

When the Finish Screen appears your phone will reboot, when it boots up it will show a progress bar, when that progress bar completes it will reboot the phone again.

Updated MyFaves in Windows Mobile 6

T-Mobile users who upgraded to Windows Mobile 6 today got an added bonus. The MyFaves program was also updated.

The updated MyFaves has a new option called “Log”. This option is basically a history of everything you have done with the MyFaves contact you are working on.

It records every call time and length, every Text Message and MMS sent and received.

They also changed the UI (User Interface) a bit, the icons now have 3D and glossy look to them.

Got my First T-mobile bill

Got my first bill, T-mobile forgot to credit me for something, (activation fee)

Anyway I thought I would have to battle it out with them but nope, the chick Handled it quickly credited me and that was that.

If anyone from T-Mobile reads this give Kimberly in Missouri a raise
