I hate my HTC Touch

I have had the HTC touch for four months.  What garbage!!!  Support non existent.  I have waited four months for a fix for missed calls.  They can’t fix it.  Worse I have been through three phones and three carriers to make it work and it is as best a crummy cell phone and easily the dumbist phone ever.

Have you updated it to the latest software?

Fixed a lot of issues and added a bunch of features.

Yes I have updated the software, I also down loaded opera mobile which worked way better than the Internet exploder also tried yahoo mobile but the phone is the glichy -est hard to use thing.  Cell phone aspects are week(signal and phone operations and customer service is bad.  Tech support is to boot or hard boot or send it back to the company.  As I said I’m on phone #3 and they were all junk.  I’m sending it back today.  I got a Blackberry 7100 on line for $30.00 plus shipping It already works better than my touch.  I realy feel people shoud be warned against this phone it is junk!!!!!!!

Sprint CS is horrible, they suck for making you send the phone to the maker while all other companies exchange them for you.

Good luck with the Blackberry, probably will work well for you.

You don’t understand, I bought the phone from edge wireless because I phones were no available in my area (N Calif) ((the real North Mt. Shasta CA)) so I tried the phone “Touch” looked great work bad.  No notification of Missed calls and I’m a businessman.  The sales people trained on the phone could not get the Internet (Dismissed issue) or the mail to work at first after three visits they got the internet to work.  The phone was replaced and the new phones reception was so bad I wasn’t getting calls at all.  Edge sent it back, tech said it was dysfunctional.  I was told I didn’t have to have a third “touch” ATT bought Edge Wireless and I was offered the opportunity to get a I phone.  Edge Regional manager refused my request and sent me a new “Touch” unlocked.  ATT could not get it to work no internet no e-mail I pushed and they claimed to have no support for phone. I e-mailed HTC they sent me a tech person fom singular (ATT) that offered that HTC had a problem with missed call and would have a “fix” But no fix came Three months and the phone didn’t work.  I called T-mobile they said they could get the phone to work and did.  But still no missed calls.  It has locked out important customers of mine so they can’t call and I has been calling customers with out my input.  After four months I has been the most aggravating bad buy of my life and I feel I need to warn others.

Ahh I mis understood sorry.

A lot of companies don’t prepare themselves for unlocked phones and want to force you into a phone they provide, that will change soon though. I personally don’t see why 1 phone won’t work on 1 network even if it supports the network I think its mostly BS.

I have learned however if you have an unlocked phone just tell them you have a phone they support. For example you had the touch tell them you had some other windows mobile smart phone.

I have e-mails from a tech company referred to me by HTC. The company’s name on the E-mail says “singular” be glad to foreword to you.  Yes, ATT told me they don’t support the phone.  I said yes you do I have an e-mail with your company name on it. They said no.  I said then how can you be my Cell phone carrier?  They just said they can’t help me.  I quit them they sent me a $200.00 phone bill for 6 days officially ten days because I had to port my number and to keep my number they extorted four more days.  Got the bill want to see?  Finally as I have said T-mobile got it working but so poorly so I recently sent the phone back to texas “HTC” repair they are charging me twenty eight dollars to tell me my phone is crap.  I sent a picture of myself and three touch phone boxes (I have had three phones) with documentation of the phone not working.  Three carriers bills including rebates for the phone not working.  I’m in lemon ville here and glad to be able to share this.  I got documentation.  I’ll send it to you.  A cel phone should be a good thing this one has been a horror.

I’ve been reading lots of complaints with this phone. It happens over and over again so it’s better if you buy another brand that works well so you wont be having problems.

I disagree with all the replies posted here. HTC TOUCH is actually a nice phone and user’s merely complain bout this one. Maybe you’re just having trouble with the provider? May i know what’s your provider?
