Alltel wireless introduces the Samsung Wafer, one of the thinnest mobile phones on the market.

The wafer weighs 2.7 ounces, features XM Satellite Radio and, Axcess TV and Mobile Guide. The phone also has a 1.3 Mega Pixel camera and Bluetooth. The phone has Video playback capabilities and a built in MP3 player. The Wafer is also the only phone from alltel with Bluetooth stereo capabilities (meaning you can stream audio to a Bluetooth computer and stereo).

Alltel is selling the wafer for 149.99, or 109.99 after a 40 dollar MIR with two year contract agreement.

I suppose I need to head over to one of the Alltel stores to check this out. You know how much I hate the sales reps in those stores!

I do but the phone isn’t that expensive and does look nice IMO
