It’s harder to stop then most people think.  I have slowed down considerably though.

I quit cold turkey. I have seen the things that happen to babies whose mothers’ smoke. The second I saw the postive test, I set the pack down forever. I think it’s actually on the contrary, quitting easier than people think. All I needed to think about everytime I wanted to light one up is that I am depriving my CHILD OF OXYGEN AND HE/SHE CAN’T BREATH.

Some of these risk factors include:

You are more likely to have a miscarriage.
Your baby is more likely to die before birth.
Smoking can cause placenta previa (Dangerous situation where the placenta covers the cervix.)
It can cause a placental abruption (Where the placenta separates from the wall of the uterus denying all oxygen to your baby.)
It increases your risk of a preterm birth.

Here’s a better picture:

Funny how a woman can get arrested for child abuse when babies are outside the womb, but not inside?

I know you don’t know me. I don’t know you, I just know you should make the decision for your child to stop smoking. Given your preference, didn’t you chose to become pregnant before hand? Why didn’t you quit before you got pregnant? This is a subject I clearly feel very strongly about and I have no reservations about telling people what I think. This is devestating. You will NEVER FORGIVE YOURSELF, when your “not being able” to quit smoking compromises your baby’s health.

I went to see the Bodies exhibit, and they showed a dead baby who was still born, parent smoked. He had tar marks all over his skin. Kinda looked like the smokers lung from earlier in the exhibit.

I know it’s sad. The sad thing is that it happens everyday to thousands of babies. Where was that exhibit? I think they had it here?

I got it back in Sept to replace my Moto phone that was acting up. I was able to install Win Mo 6 only hours after receiving the phone, and it was so easy to do!

Right now I’m having problems with the Sim Card.. so going to call Rogers sometime this week to transfer to my new Sim card
