When I signed up for service in October (since my land line company was jerking me around—Don’t use earthlink!—I had to get a cell phone since we were on day 3 of no phone service), I just got the cheapest Nokia phone that I could that would work with Nextel.  I went with Nextel since my hubby’s work phone is Nextel and all of my in-laws have Nextel. 

I hate my phone.  It sucks.  I have to charge the phone every single day, because the battery will not hold a charge.  My phone is the ugly blue one with absolutely no features.  When I am charging my phone, I do not have any service.  I have never had that happen before (and I have been with US Cellular and T- Mobile in the past).  As soon as I unplug the stupid thing, I have service again.  This phone is useless.  My hubby, who normally could care less, hates this phone.  The background does not stay lit long enough.  If it would not cost me at least another $100, I would be buying myself a new phone.  Spend the money and get a decent phone!  It is worth it!

Whoops! Just assumed it is a nokia.  it is actually a motorola i265

I moved your post to the Motorola forum, and I agree the i265 is crap my sister got it when she first had nextel.

Motorola? YUCK! I miss my LG. I had it for over three years before the display started going whacky. I wouldn’t sign a new contract so I was rushed through with this crappy Motorola. I’ve had to return it once already because it just quit working.

I’m considering ordering a new phone online from the Alltel website so I can bypass the crappy CS at the stores. Just not sure what phone will give me the longevity that my LG did.

I was happy with my Razr and my friends sister is so far happy with her MotoQ.

I do think Moto tends to rush first gen phones to the market though

I remember when the RAZR was introduced, one of my former coworkers was pumped up to buy one, when it was $500 or so, even though he was anti-GSM.

I’m jealous of one of my friends who has a Moto Q, he got his for free, but data prices here are expensive

Well, my phone finally quit holding a charge and I got the i670.  So far so good.

the i670 is probably the best lookin phon Nextel has IMO. What’s even better it’s one of the cheap ones.
