Hi, I will contact someone at HP to see if they can help you
I want to buy HP iPAQ 600, i wonder if it can work in Korea (south). Can i do skype audio on this phone?
Its an unlocked phone so it might work there. Itcan do skype if your data connection is good.
Thanks for responding michael..i looked for the phone on Korean online stores, couldn’t find it..they sell mostly PDAs here..Can i have the HP iPAQ 600 shipped from US to Korea? Or where in Asia do u think i can get this smartphone?
they don’t even sell the 600 in the US. Your best bet would be to buy the european version. Japan might have it.
I have an HP iPAQ h4300 series, and when the device is on, every 5ish seconds a message box pops up saying ‘Connect To USB Status: Connect to Host’ with two buttons saying ‘Cancel’ or ‘Hide status’.

Today HP showed off the new iPaq 600 and 900.
Both are smart phones that run Windows Mobile 6. Both of the phones have a 3 mega pixel camera, that does both stills and video and bluetooth 2.0.
The one pictured on the left is the 900 and the one on the right is the 600.
If you look at the number-pad of the 600 closely, you will see a circle in the middle keys, this acts as a scroll wheel similar to what you would find on an iPod. Both the 600 and 900 are touch screen so you can use your finger or a stylus to navigate.
Both phones should be available next month, however carrier and pricing has yet to be announced. HP promises both phones will be available in the unlocked form.
I was so excited when I saw these I forgot to ask if they were 3G or not, but I know they are tri-band.
Editing at 2am, was able to confirm that the phones are 3G HSDPA.
