Verizon Wireless is giving their customers a chance to get their hands on Prince’s new single “Guitar” weeks before the highly-anticipated release of his new studio album “Planet Earth,” when they use Verizon Wireless’ free new V CAST Song ID. With Verizon Wireless’ exclusive V CAST Song ID, customers that hear a song can hold the phone toward the music so it can identify the music, and purchase a full-track song, Ringtone or Ringback tone. According to Verizon Wireless, the new feature works right over-the-air from a customer’s phone. Customers only need a V CAST Music-enabled phone to start identifying songs playing from any music source.
