So I am a complete n00b for nearly 3 months I have been having issues with the GPS on the prototype of my iPaq 910. It would work sometimes.
I had people contact me about the GPS saying they were having trouble with it, some couldn’t get it to work at all.
Well it’s simple to get it to work. Simply go out side Launch Google Maps. Select Menu > Select Use GPS
That is it, it will center on your location and it should only take a minute to find the Satellites. Hit FN 0 to again center in on your location after it has acquired Satellites.
Google Maps by default unchecks USE GPS after you close it. So you must enable it again.
To use with Live Search you must set Live Search to use the GPS on com 8.
