Yesterday T-Mobile introduced the Sidekick Slide and LX.
First lets start with the LX, the LX has the typical swivel screen you will find on the Sidekick 2, 3 and ID, but has a larger 3 inch, 65,000-color TFT display and 400x240 pixel resolution. It weighs only 5.7 ounces which makes it lighter than other Sidekicks except for the ID. The LX will come in two colors mid-night blue and brown. Espresso brown but from what I saw it looks more like shit brown. It comes with integrated bluetooth and a 1.3 megapixel camera. The LX will run you $299 with a 2 year contract.
Sidekick LX
Now onto the Sidekick Slide, which unlike all the other sidekicks has a sliding screen, similar to the T-Mobile Wing. Unlike other Sidekicks the Slide is not designed by Danger or Sharp but by Motorola a first for the sidekick line. The slide is smaller only measures 4.6 inches and weighs 5.3 ounces. The Slide has a higher resolution screen than any other Sidekick 320x240 pixels and 65,000 colors. The Slide will require a microSD card for music playback, it has a 1.3 Megapixel camera but no video. It will retail for $199 with a 2 year contract.
