Verizon to offer Month to Month option
Monday, September 22, 2008

image Today Verizon Wireless has announced it will offer a month to month option for customers who do not want to sign a 2 year contract or don’t want a pre-paid account. The new month to month option will not require you sign up for a plan with less minutes and or features, instead Verizons current plans will be available with a month to month option.

What does this mean? Well it means you won’t have to pay early termination fees if you decide to leave Verizon early, but it also means no free phone or discounts on any phone. I say stick with the 2 year contract and get the discount. But I do see month to month plans being good idea for teens.

T-Mobile also offers a month to month plan called FlexPay and Sprint offers a 200 minute month to month plan as well.
