Today Sprint announced that with the launch of 4G in Houston, Texas officially has their largets 4G footprint. Those lucky texans now have access to the fastest wireless network in the US and I personally can’t wait to have it in NY.
I have used the Sprint 4G network across the US and Texas has no idea how lucky they are. The speed available to you and the rate plans are just amazing. Imagine true unlimited wireless broadband for $59.99 a month and up to 10 Mbps download speeds is amazing!
“Today, we flipped the switch to make fast mobile broadband even faster for Houston,” said John Stevens, Southwest regional vice president, Sprint. “Customers will discover that 4G technology allows all kinds of new possibilities for Internet-on-the-go - streaming video, online gaming, videoconferencing. There is nothing else like the 4G experience from any other wireless carrier and now Texas is number one in 4G connectivity.”
In 2010, Sprint will launch many more markets, and is expected to cover up to 120 million people with Sprint 4G service, and will introduce several 4G devices, including a single-mode 4G data card and embedded laptops. View 4G coverage for all Sprint 4G markets at http://www.sprint.com/4G.
